Janie Harris
When Janie Harris was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, she already had practice at helping someone close to her deal with cancer. Her beloved husband, Willie, faced prostate cancer years earlier. Just as she had supported the love of her life, he gave her support. Both Janie and Willie have an amazing spirit and say they never had a doubt they would beat cancer.
In addition to giving credit to one another for their support, they also give credit to the doctors and staff at The Cancer Center for using advanced, state-of-the-art technology to overcome their cancers
Janie and Willie wanted to share their story as part of our new “I Will” campaign that celebrates the spirit and strength of patients like them. They hope their story will help to inspire others.
