On June 3rd, cancer survivors got to "sock it to cancer" during a celebration honoring their battles with cancer and their lives. North Florida Regional Medical Center hosted a "Sock it to Cancer Sock Hop" on National Survivors Day where cancer survivors could enjoy the camaraderie of fellow survivors and enjoy a lighthearted day of fun, laughter, and joy. Along with this celebration of life, cancer survivors hope their stories will convince more people to regularly get checked for cancer.
